Military

Military subgenre stories involve one or more characters who serve or have served in the armed forces. The plot will involve military situations or events having military value. Armed conflict, training, and patrolling based plots are frequently found in this subgenre. Military subgenre is often found in War novels, certain types of Spy Thrillers, and Science Fiction stories. Reactions to fear, danger, killing to survive, command pressure, and bravery are common psychological elements.
